Why Bentap is free, and how we keep it that way
No plans, no upgrades, no ads. Here is the business model behind a free link-in-bio and NFC review platform — and what we will never do.
Bentap
Every link-in-bio tool starts free and ends with a paywall around the features people actually need: themes, analytics, a save-contact button. We built Bentap the other way around.
What costs money
A profile page is a few kilobytes of HTML served from Cloudflare’s edge. Storing your links and counting visits costs fractions of a cent per month. There is no reason to charge for that, and charging would mean building a billing system, plans, and a support queue for failed payments — more work than the product itself.
What we sell instead
Physical things: NFC cards, review stands, stickers with your logo. They are optional. A card you buy at a market for a few cents works exactly as well as ours — we write it the same way. People who want printed, pre-programmed cards with their branding pay for those.
What we will never do
No ads on your page. No tracking pixels on your visitors. No “verified” badge for money. No plan that unlocks the statistics you already earned. If that ever changes, it will be written here first.
